We're excited to announce that Gamma's Generate API is now out of beta and generally available! Additionally, we're launching several new endpoints that will help users with new workflows. A summary of the newly released features are below, but we highly recommend you read through the v1.0 documentation to understand these changes in detail.

Important notes

Summary of new features

  • Generate API is now in GA. Please switch from v0.2 to v1.0 endpoints going forward.
  • We are launching Create from Template API in beta. This is the API form of our in-app Remix feature.
  • Here are several new features in the Generate API:
    • Generate webpages!
    • Define headers and footers.
  • Additionally, you can now do the following using both Generate and Create from Template APIs:
    • Input image URLs to use for your gamma.
    • Share more easily: define folders for your gamma and share via recipients' emails.
  • We are also releasing APIs that list themes and folders.
  • Gamma now has an official Make.com integration.
  • Finally, we have removed hard limits for the number of generations you can request. Please reach out to support via Slack if you experience rate limiting.

We're releasing the following changes today to help increased usage and organization for our API users:

  • Increasing generation caps to 50/hour from 50/day (read more).
  • You can now purchase credits as needed or enable auto-recharge (recommended) (read more).
  • API generated gammas will now appear in a separate tab in the dashboard (read more).

We're introducing several changes to help you get more power and flexibility from the Generate API:

  • Increasing usage caps to 50/generations/user/day (read more) .
  • With the new Ultra pricing tier in Gamma, you can now access even more powerful image models (read more).
  • Ultra users can also generate up to 75 card-long gammas (read more).
  • To enable flexible usage and powerful models, we're introducing a credits-based pricing system (read more).
